Challenge

The client struggled to access and track IoT device data in real-time to optimize routes, predict journey times and connectivity issues, and gain insights into their logistics. They also needed a scalable solution that could handle diverse data formats, integrate live streams from GPS and environmental sensors, and extend IoT device battery life for continuous operations during long shipments. 

Additionally, overcoming performance bottlenecks in high-velocity operations while ensuring real-time responsiveness remained a critical requirement.

Solution

We integrated AWS data warehousing with sophisticated AI/ML models to enable scalable data processing, intelligent decision-making, and battery life optimization. As part of this, we developed a robust ETL pipeline to extract data from cloud-based MongoDB, process it, and migrate it to AWS Redshift, enabling predictive analytics. 

We built a customer-facing system for accurate journey time predictions, anomaly detection, and real-time alerts by leveraging Google Maps and LLMs. We also helped the client develop a cloud-based IoT management platform to enhance device visibility and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
